Twentieth Century Advice Literature Is Launched We are pleased to announce the launch of Twentieth Century Advice Literature: North American Guides on Race, Sex, Gender, and the Family.  The collection currently features 19,000 pages of handbooks, manuals, and guidebooks.  Upon completion Twentieth Century Advice Literature will contain over 150,000 pages.  Many of the works are highly visual and all texts feature Alexander Street's Semantic Indexing™.

Opera in Video Goes Live Alexander Street's latest addition to the Critical Video Editions series is Opera in Video.  The collection contains 250 of the most important opera performances, captured on video through staged productions, interviews, and documentaries, and then delivered online through streaming video. Selections represent the world’s best performers, conductors, and opera houses and are based on a work’s importance to the operatic canon.

Dance in Video Is Now Live It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of Dance in Video, a revolutionary online collection that brings a new dimension to nearly all aspects of performance studies and production history.  Dance in Video captures performances from the stage and brings them directly to your computer screen through online streaming video—including 250 dance productions and documentaries by the most influential performers and companies of the twentieth century.

Images of the American Civil War is Live! We are pleased to announce the beta release of the highly anticipated Images of the American Civil War: Photographs, Posters, and Ephemera.  This new collection provides a vivid visual history of a nation in crisis.  At completion, the collection will present 75,000 images from the social, military, and political perspectives of the nineteenth-century.  Access to this collection is free through the end of July.
